Nanna not only meet on the streets, we have regular meetings where we do lots of plotting among other things.
Weekly Zoom
Sydney Nannas usually meet on Friday mornings on Zoom from 9.30-10.30am to report back on events, plot our next moves and discuss correspondence and submissions.
Contact us to receive an email from Sydney Knitting Nannas & Friends [SKN&F] with the Zoom link and agenda. If you don’t receive it, check your spam or social folder. You will need to download the Zoom app on your device to join the meeting. If you are unsure how to use Zoom contact us and we will set up a training time for you.
Monthly in person meeting in CBD
We try to meet in person once a month in a meeting room at Customs House, Circular Quay on a Friday from 10am to 1pm. This meeting may also include a guest speaker, singing practice, rehearsing street theatre, and/or making a video.
Monthly Zoom meetings with regional Nannas
Monthly Zoom meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 5.30pm for discussions and sharing information with regional Nannas. Contact us if you are interested.
Yarning Group Crafternoons
The Yarning Group meets every month or two in Glebe at Nanna Elizabeth’s house for a Crafternoon usually at 1.30pm on a Saturday. If you haven’t met us yet, this is a good introduction to our group. Notice is always sent out via email and mentioned at the meetings. You don’t need to knit or crochet to attend!
Includes craft, sewing, knitting and crochet – signs, costumes and gifts. Elizabeth is happy to teach beginners how to knit and/or crochet and will help with projects underway.
Major event Zoom meetings
Separate Zoom meetings are held for major events that require a lot of planning.
