Sydney Knitting Nannas & Friends express our horror at the Israeli government’s crimes against humanity and their genocidal acts [1] against the Palestinian people in Gaza. We abhor the use of deliberate starvation as a weapon of war, now being added to continued bombings and killings of unarmed civilians over many months.

Coffs Harbour Forest Convergence and Sydney Protest

The North East Forest Alliance (NEFA) is planning a massive action outside the Forestry Corporation’s office at 34 Park Avenue, Coffs Harbour on Monday 13 January at 10am. Visitors to the area can experience a guided forest walk during the day, and/or spotlighting koalas and gliders at night. (For details see below.)

Media release – NSW Police challenge Rising Tide Blockade

Knitting Nannas are disappointed that the NSW Supreme Court has found in favour of the NSW Police Force in rejecting Rising Tides application for a Form 1 for the People’s Blockade of the World’s Largest Coal Port, Newcastle/Muloobinba.
