Gas companies will struggle to open new gas basins without public money. The Labor government has not yet outlined their position on public funding for gas.
Lock the Gate is campaigning to pressure them to rule out any future gas subsidies and wind back any of Morrison’s subsidies that haven’t been spent yet. Here is what you can do
1. Sign up for a 45 minute webinar on Wednesday, 7th September at 5.30pm for information you need to meet with your local Labor MP. If you don’t have a Labor MP, using information from the webinar, you can write to your local paper and to the NSW ALP Senators.
