Rio Tinto has damaged yet another ancient sacred site in the Pilbara. Three years on from the company’s destruction of ancient rock shelters at Juukan Gorge we still don’t have effective legal protection for sacred sites. We urgently need the promised Federal Cultural Heritage Act.
Please give federal Ministers Plibersek and Burney a call urging them to move ahead quickly with their promised legislation.
