Actions of the Week 27 Jan 2025

Sign up for clean water, ad-free sport, climate action and democracy – all quick actions.

Centennial Coal wants to dump toxic coal wastewater in the waterways flowing into the Warragamba Dam. Sign the Nature Conservation Council petition to the Environmental Protect Authority to help protect Sydney’s drinking water.

Gambling ads are relentless in their invasion of our TVs and online platforms. Support calls for gambling ads to be banned to help reduce problem gambling. Sign Sophie Scamps’ petition.

Let’s remind the Albanese government that burning fossil fuels is the major cause of the climate emergency and that we want ambitious policies to transition away from coal and gas in the lead up to the election.

Our democracy needs the protection of genuine electoral reform. Labor’s flawed legislation was designed to favour the major parties. It’s stalled in the parliament so we have an opportunity to call for electoral reforms that will cap donations and protect voters from lies in political advertising.
