Prevent Coral Harvesting
The Great Barrier Reef is in crisis, yet hundreds of tonnes of healthy corals are being taken from the reef to be sold in the global aquarium trade.
Strengthen NSW Nature Laws
This year the NSW Government has promised to strengthen the Biodiversity Conservation Act and create a Nature Strategy for the whole state. Currently an area four times the size of Newcastle is cleared each year in NSW.
Tell Premier Minns NSW needs nature laws that are strong, enforceable, and that put the environment first.
Protect koala and greater glider high density habitat
Call on the NSW Government to:
- immediately end logging within 100m of any recorded koala or greater glider and identified area of high-density habitat,
- develop and implement a transition plan for workers affected by an end to native forest logging,
- end logging in NSW public forests before the end of 2025.
