Sydney Knitting Nannas invite you to join us in welcoming politicians back to the NSW parliament for their next sitting. We’ll have speakers on coal mining, native forest logging and saving our water resources. We’re inviting the pollies to come and talk about their plans and hopes.

We are calling for them to:
Stop approving coal mine expansions in NSW
Implement the recommendations of the Connectivity Report to protect our water resources
Take urgent action to reduce emissions so the NSW legislated emissions reduction targets can be met
End native forest logging in NSW and create the Great Koala National Park – the whole 176,000 hectares
Protect South-West Sydney koalas from housing and infrastructure developments.
Come and meet the Nannas, bring a friend or family member and hear speakers on these important issues. Feel the buzz of working together for a better and safer planet for future generations.
