1. Petition – Stop misleading ads at next year’s NSW election
There is still time for the NSW parliament to pass truth in political advertising legislation to cover the March 2027 election. Without it there is nothing to stop political parties and candidates from lying and spreading misinformation “Truth in political advertising is vital to restoring public trust that has been greatly eroded,” said Michelle Millner, who has launched this petition.
2. Join calls for a National Plebiscite on a 25% Gas Export Tax.
There is broad support for Australians to receive a share of the huge profits gas corporations are making from exporting our gas. It could raise $17 billion annually, but the federal government won’t act. They should let the people have a say. Add your name to this letter to the Australian parliament.
3. Save Waterloo Public Housing: Refurbish, don’t demolish!
Sign this petition to the NSW government calling for public housing to be refurbished instead of evicting vulnerable tenants in the midst of a housing crisis and demolishing their homes.
