3. Petition – Stop Misleading Ads at Next Year’s Election
It’s legal to lie in political advertising in NSW. The parliament can legislate truth in political advertising laws in time to make the March 2027 election fairer.
4. Sign Birdlife Australia’s email to federal ministers.
We’ve had a win on SCAR poisons – they are being removed from sale to the public. But there is still more to do to protect birds and non-target animals, especially endangered species. Now we need to win robust registration and permit systems to ensure appropriate use and monitoring by licenced and trained professionals only.
