Stop Santos
Santos wants to build the Narrabri Lateral Pipeline from their gas processing facilities at Leewood to the unbuilt Hunter Gas Pipeline. This would carve a 30-metre-wide corridor for 50-60 kilometres through the Pilliga forest and some of the state’s best farmland.
Sydney water under threat
The Angus Place coal mine is near Lithgow and lies beneath the Gardens of Stone protected conservation area. Centennial Coal plans to expand the mine at further risk to this extraordinary site. Their next step in that direction is an attempt to dump contaminated water into Sydney’s Water Catchment, by-passing the treatment plant.
