Koala Action

On 23 March the upper house of the state parliament will debate the creation of the Great Koala National Park on the mid North Coast. 175,000 hectares of public forest protected forever to save koalas and other species.

Please call an upper house MP for a chat about saving koalas, and ask them to support the Park.

Protecting habitat is the key to stopping the extinction of koalas in the wild. The Park would create a net increase in jobs and untold economic benefits to the region into the future.

There’s more info from the Bob Brown Foundation website

and the National Parks Association
