Members of Save Sydney Koalas have been working for years in many ways to protect the healthy koala colony in south west Sydney. They know what will save the koalas and they’re calling on the NSW parliament to listen to the scientists and the local community and move quickly.
There’s an urgent need for action by state and local government around the state if we are to save NSW koalas from extinction. Protecting koalas and other native species will be a big topic in the state election in March next year. Let’s kick off a koala election campaign by signing the petition and finding out more about what we can do.
