You may have signed the Save Sydney Koalas petition to save Sydney’s only remaining healthy koala colony in the Campbelltown area. This week we are asking you to put the word out further into the community.
Please ask three or more of your friends to sign. They just need to be NSW residents. Our friends Save Sydney’s Koalas need more signatures to get to the 20,000 required for the parliament to debate the important koala protections the petition asks for.
You may have heard the government released the Cumberland Plain Conservation Plan this week. Sadly the plan will not protect koalas and their habitat. Central to the plan is the clearing of more land to expand urban residential developments, including around Campbelltown.
