The name of the development may have changed from Lizard Rock to Patyegarang, but community opposition remains strong.
If the NSW Planning Minister approves rezoning of the 227 hectares of precious bushland it will allow it to be cleared for housing and industrial developments. Habitat for native species would be lost, including threatened species.
