Nannas set the record straight on CSG
Sydney Knitting Nannas were alarmed by the response to a letter sent in early June to the Minister for Planning, Paul Scully requesting, among other things, a coal seam gas exclusion zone for the Liverpool Plains.

Letter to Plibersek re Murray Darling
Sydney Knitting Nannas have written to the Environment Minister, Tanya Plibersek, about the implementation of the Murray Darling Basin and copies have been sent to the relevant ministers in each state.
No new coal letter
This week a letter from the Sydney Knitting Nannas was sent to Paul Scully, NSW Minister for Planning and Public Spaces with copies to both state and federal Environment Ministers about approvals for new coal mines and expansions, and Australia’s responsibility for Scope 3 emissions.
Letter to Federal Ministers re Beetaloo
Last week the Sydney Knitting Nannas wrote a letter to federal government Ministers, Chris Bowen and Tanya Plibersek, regarding the Northern Territory government’s approval of fracking the Beetaloo. Copies were sent to NT Senator Malarndirri McCarthy and Marion Scrymgour MP for Lingiari NT.
