This week, some Sydney Nannas had meetings with MPs, while others prepared a NSW election resources kit. Our creative nannas are working on getting ready for our first Craftivism Exhibition in early March.
Today Nannas met with NSW Shadow Minister for the Environment, Penny Sharpe, and current member for Summer Hill, Jo Haylen. They discussed the issues of most concern to Nannas and were told that as it is early in the campaign there are more announcements to come.
Questions on the Narrabri Gas Project were taken on notice for Jihad Dib, the Shadow Minister for Energy and Climate Change.
Labor intends to create a Great Koala National Park but will not commit to the size until they have conducted their own assessment and research.
