Coal seam gas (CSG) puts land, water and culture at risk. Communities in north-west NSW are right now fighting against this industry, which will turbocharge climate change, causing more droughts, floods and fires.
Victoria and the ACT both have plans to get off gas by electrifying industry and homes, but NSW does not.
We don’t need the Narrabri Gas Project or the pipelines that go with it – it will not reduce costs but it will destroy the Pilliga forest and our foodbowl on the Liverpool Plains.
