Knitting Nannas Against Gas in Lismore celebrated ten years of needling gas companies and politicians on Thursday 30 June. The tenth Nannaversary was a knit-in held where they started, outside their state MP’s offices in Lismore. They were joined by Nannas from Grafton, Sydney, Bellingen and Kyogle and some Poppies and Kiddies.
The perseverance, courage and wit of the Lismore Nannas has inspired the many Nanna loops established over the last 10 years, including the Sydney Nannas & Friends. We wish them at least as much outrageous success in their next decade.
