Sydney Knitting Nannas and sisters Anne and Kathy met up at Uluru for a week’s tour of the red centre in the Northern Territory. Nanna Anne had driven from Sydney with a friend and two hitchhiking Nannas, Eartha and Nola.

Eighteen Nannas were at Customs House on Friday 26 July for singing practice and a plotting session. Singing led by Nanna Penny is always a lot of fun and this time we had two air guitarists playing along with Queen’s finale in We Will Rock (Stop) You.

Four Sydney Nannas went on the Lock the Gate Hunter Valley Coal Tour by bus on Friday 21 June. We saw the scale of destruction and the voids to be left behind from coal mining.
