Sydney Knitting Nannas were back at the top of Martin Place on Friday protesting against waste-to-energy incinerators. We were joined by people representing the different areas in Sydney and the regions who will be affected. City and country campaigners were united in calling for real solutions to the waste crisis, not polluting incinerators.

Integrity and Climate Election
Not having a robust Integrity Commission at a federal level enables more than rorting of grants programs, it’s blocking the serious climate action we need. Legal, but essentially corrupt behaviour, has empowered those businesses with the most to lose from a move towards clean energy.

After a recent visit to the Pilliga, Nanna Terry wrote a briefing paper for people not familiar with the Narrabri Gas Project and the associated problems with coal seam gas extraction.
